Solicitation

To maintain our goal for disseminating new and cutting edge materials in this field, we welcome your proposal submissions for potential books, workbooks, texts, and/or brochures. To facilitate a quick response from us, we ask you take a look at NEARI’s mission and values to ensure that you are compatible with the work we do here. If yes, then we ask that you include the following materials in your proposal:

Author/Editor information

  • CV or resume
  • Brief description of your qualifications to write this book (1-2 paragraphs)
  • Contact information: name, address, phone number, and email address

Book/Booklet/Text/Workbook description

  • Working title·
  • Brief description of your book (1-2 paragraphs)·
  • Table of contents with a detailed chapter outline about what is included in each chapter·
  • Estimated number of pages of the completed manuscript

Manuscript or sample chapters

  • Proposal should include either the entire manuscript or at least two sample chapters.
  • If you send a whole manuscript, please let us know which chapters best represent your work.
Audience
  • Who is your book intended to reach? ·
  • What will that audience gain from reading it?
Competition
  • What other current books address the same or similar topic? ·
  • In what ways does your book enrich or advance the field? ·
  • Why is your material different from other literature presently available in the field?

Market

  • Briefly, how can the intended audience be reached? ·
  • Do you have any agencies/groups who would be interested in purchasing a number of copies at pre-publication discounts?
Timetable
    ·If this manuscript is not yet completed, what is the realistic target date for that completion?
