NEARI Press Seeking Parent Input for Our Parent 2 Parent Project!

NEARI Press and Training Center has been selected to receive a grant of $50,000 from Raliance, a national collaborative formed to distribute funds donated by the National Football League to end sexual violence in one generation. The funding will support the roll-out of NEARI’s new Parent 2 Parent project to prevent child sexual abuse by providing parents and other caretakers with resources, tools, and educational materials to ensure children’s healthy sexual development.

We are currently in search of parents of children and youth with sexual behavior problems who would be willing to share their stories with us to inform our development of new materials serving families. Parents and caregivers can participate anonymously and with full confidentiality by completing a short survey and/or being part of a focus group over the phone with other parents. Participants will receive a gift card to Amazon.com as a thank you for their work with us.

If you are a parent who would be willing to speak with us, or a clinician or provider who works with parents and families who might be interested in becoming involved, please email Krysten E. Lobisch, Project Coordinator, for more information. You can reach her here: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
