Seeking Parents to Tell Your Stories for Our Parent 2 Parent Project!

Parent 2 Parent is NEARI Press and Training Center's new initiative, through which we will produce written and online resources for parents and caregivers of youth with sexual behavior problems (SBPs). Are you the parent of a child with SBPs? We need your help! We would love to speak with you if you are willing to share your story with us to inform our development of new materials serving families!

You can participate anonymously and with full confidentiality by completing a short survey and/or being part of a focus group over the phone with other parents.

Here is a short survey for you to complete. You will receive a $10 gift card to Amazon.com as a thank you for your work with us if we can confirm the survey is fully complete.

Are you a clinician who can refer parents you work with to us? Clinicians who refer parents to us will also receive a gift from NEARI Press--a choice of one of three of our excellent books: Assessing Youth: A Primer by David Prescott, Who Am I and Why Am I in Treatment? by Rob Longo, or Very Different Voices by David Prescott and Robin Wilson!

Please visit our Parent 2 Parent website for more information, and please watch this space!

If you would like more information on this project, please email Krysten E. Lobisch, Project Coordinator, for more information. You can reach her here: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

The author also describes the shifts in culture that have allowed pornography to flourish, including how yesterday's pornography has played a role in the mainstreaming of today's hypersexualized media.
